(01) Approach

The day as it really was, made to last.

I watch before I direct. Most of a wedding day unfolds on its own, and my work is to be in the right place when it does: the glance across the lawn at Castle Hill, the last light on the Cliff Walk, the dance floor after midnight.

Portraits and details get an editorial eye. Everything else is left to happen as it happens. Brands including Mastercard, American Airlines and the NFL have trusted me with their events, and my work has appeared in OK!, Billboard, The New York Post and Modern Bride.

Before you write

Where do you photograph weddings?

I am based on the Connecticut shoreline and photograph weddings throughout Newport, Rhode Island, coastal Connecticut and New England, with destination weddings worldwide.

How far in advance should we book?

I accept only one wedding per weekend, so most dates are reserved 12 to 18 months ahead. Inquire as soon as you have a date and venue.

Do you shoot film or digital?

Both. Every collection is hybrid, film and digital, and the entire wedding can also be photographed on film.

Which venues have you photographed?

My featured venues include Castle Hill Inn, The Chanler at Cliff Walk, Rosecliff and New York Yacht Club, Harbour Court.
